First, I’d like to thank my first 2 sponsors on my TopSpot - Matt Sherborne from Paid Insider Forum and Garry Conn from GarryConn.com. They were the first to take advantage of that ScratchBack advertising widget you see on my far right sidebar. They have both been extremely helpful during my online endeavours and I recommend their sites for high quality Internet Marketing and blogging resources.
This week has seen a slew of reviews from several blogs, be it income or traffic. There will always be people who are interested, and those who aren’t. As a reader myself, I use them both as inspiration, and extra guides in finding ways to grow and diversify my online money making methods.
I have only one such related post here, as it has extra insight into how the author, and you, can build traffic growth.
Lidija Davis of BlogWell guest blogged on SEO 2.0 - it’s a great post about many things, in particular a nifty technique that gets you more click-throughs if done well and with good intentions. If you do not wish to learn, do not read it.
I’m always interested in expanding my writing and communication skills, as it forms a fundamental of my online ventures. Another great tip found at DailyBlogTips - have you ever spent too much time rewriting stuff before completion? Then you should write like there’s no tomorrow before editing.
Courtney Tuttle and Vic have created a new social media site especially for bloggers - BloggingZoom. It’s intended to help create more exposure for bloggers by leveraging on Vic’s SEO experience. I have yet to fully explore it and thus cannot provide a fair review. However, BloggingZoom’s first day recap looks promising. There’re some interesting debates going on in the comments, but for me things are very simple. If there’s a platform that you can use to gain more exposure - try it. Most people have good intentions and it is up to each and everyone of us to work together.
Forums are a great way to build your brand and networks. I am guilty of not spending much time on them. I have taken note of a long list of both old and new ones - but Paid Insider Forum is one which I hope more of you will join. It is still quite new, and needs more active participation (including my own). But the admin, Matt, has done a great job, providing useful resources for any Internet Marketer. It could easily serve as a one-stop place for beginning IMs.
Garry has been churning out them videos like he’s about to sign up a few Hollywood stars. The great thing is that they don’t lack in quality at all despite the regularity. This one is fresh off the oven - Why In The Hell Do You Want To Make Money Online? Something I ask myself periodically to keep targets in check. Here’s another video on increasing website traffic, but do yourself a favor and make his site a must-visit.
I’ve been spending some time looking for niche markets to build sites on. Thus the ever-present question from many - how do you find a good niche? Thomas shared how he goes about this process in just 5 easy steps - check it out and you can also follow his progress as he documents it.
And finally, I never thought I would be linking to a blog like aimClearBlog - but here it is - Social Rock Star Rules For Little People. Waitaminute, I think I have done it before. But a good read from Marty is always a good read.
