This weekend is a mad mix of the serious, practical and plain entertaining, but nonetheless informative. I will be trying to catch up on TV shows like the new seasons of Prison Break, Heroes and House, as well as some movies that should give my brains a bit of rest.
Dana is showing to be quite a guru at social media and networking. She reveals that at the end of the tunnel, all you really needed to know about social media, you learnt it in kindergarten! You wonder why we all studied so hard after that.
My fellow Singaporean blogger, Missy, is quite an expert herself at making money on eBay. Her August sales report shows how even during the normally quiet month, she still managed to make a decent 4-figure income from sales of low average-priced items.
Deep down, we’re all terrified - but Rose of PPCThink has some inspirational advice for you despite what you may fear. An excellent writer, Rose’s no-nonsense style not only informs, but speaks volumes.
Dawud Miracle (now that is one brilliant name) of eMomsAtHome.com asks, while your blog would probably be the center of your universe, are you doing enough to make it the center of your readers’ universe?
Terry always teaches how to make money online The Honest Way. He also gives some nifty tips on how to keep your blog momentum going when time is short.
Blogger’s block - will it consume you? This seemingly deadly emerging blogging virus is explored by 45n5.com’s Mark in his special report - Blogger’s Block: A Growing Threat To The Blogosphere.
Contests are always great to participate in, especially when they have fantastic prizes. Super Affiliate Zac Johnson has a wonderful one on offer right now for the Affiliate Summit happening in February 2008. He also reminds you that while we might not know who reads our blogs, but sometimes you get pleasant surprises.
Finally, totally off-topic, but Joanne, the Laidback Buddhist, asks why Asian guys can’t seem to get White girls. She shares her opinions on the subject but the incredibly hilarious video tells quite a story as well!
As always, have a smashin’ weekend - it’s all good!
