This week has been a busy one for me, as I put more focus on article marketing efforts, as such I have not been reading other blogs as much as I would have liked to. Also got caught up in the Google PageRank vs paid text link debate but it did open my eyes up to quite a number of things which I am reconsidering right now.
All said and done, here are just a few posts which caught my eye and if you read further, should get you thinking more on your blogging and Internet Marketing endeavours:
Everyone knows about what happened to David Airey. What is more interesting is how he reversed his PageRank penalty. It’s good to know you have done something wrong in certain people’s eyes, but it’s even better if you know how to correct your mistake.
I am new to TLA, and the earning potential is minimal since my blog is new. Better results might have been available with time, but after Garry Conn’s experience with their sales staff, I am reconsidering my position with them, despite my beliefs that we can do our own part to ensure paid link relevance.
Yaro Starak expands on the surface debate about the whole paid links debate issue, and really the second part of his post provides a more valuable lesson to us.
Getting back to basics, Susan provides some enlightening insights to CTRs with text links. Sometimes the most obvious “Click Here”’s can do wonders to improve those CTRs.
Matthew Henrickson contributes to BlogAboutYourBlog.com and emphasises how important it is to also respond to your contact emails, on top of comments.
Sean again delights me with another informative post on the best 10 online promotion techniques you should use as an Internet Marketer, and which he uses to boost his online income. Good goin’ Sean!
I have yet to upgrade to Wordpress 2.3, as I am waiting for it to ride out the teething problems. Sarah highlighted one of her early issues with it and how she fixed it, as she preferred Technorati over Google’s Blog Search in the implementation of the Incoming Links feature on your WP dashboard.
Finally, I have had a couple of guest posts on other blogs. I would love to have you visit them and let me know what you think with comments on those blogs!
Article Marketing seems to have less of a focus recently but it is still a very powerful marketing medium. Find out how you can use it to boost your SEM and profits on Chris’ Money Making Scoop - where money literally floats in his house!
Sometimes you face criticism and as a blogger, you are extremely open to that. How can we leverage on negativity to channel positive output? Ken has graciously allowed me to share how you can blog better through criticism on his Tao of Blogging to Wealth.
Have a wonderful weekend ahead and I hope the Tribe trumps Bosox!

5YC…great job on your blog, with tons of great references via links in your posts. So many blogs about blogging are regurgitated. I know this can’t be helped, but with time a valuable commodity, going to all those blogs about blogging isn’t worth it.
