You might have noticed the little addition on my sidebar promoting a product known as WPAffiliate.
Well, it is the latest Wordpress widget created - this time for DealDotCom. Essentially it will display the product being offered on the day and provides a quick link to the site if you are interested in purchasing. There were some typos in the script, and I modified some of the HTML code as I did not like the extra whitespace in the original display. Otherwise it is straightforward to install and set up, just like most Wordpress widgets. If you have signed up to DealDotCom, you might wish to test this.
Note though the widget is still in Beta, so proceed with a little caution. :) Get it here.
If you are wondering what DealDotCom is, you must not have read my earlier post. Or you can jump straight to the site now to find out more!

1I’m getting an error in my sidebar.php after I install it:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dotcomdeal() in /home/money/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/Cutline 1.1/sidebar.php on line 43
Must be the whole Beta issue. :(

3@ Chris - I’m not sure what the problem could be - you might want to approach the DealDotCom guys on it? Why is the function called dotcomdeal()? Shouldn’t it be dealdotcom()?
@ Thomas - One thing I noted tho’ - the product’s picture hasn’t been updated in the widget…

6It seems like everyone want a piece of the internet advertising business these days. New companies are rolling up just to get a piece of the pie. I wonder how many will belly up sooner or later =|.
